His writing covers the literary map, from technical articles to science fiction novels to daily Bible devotionals. His short stories and articles can be found in Futures Mysterious Anthology Magazine and The First Line as well as the Christian Imagination Association journal. He also has a textbook of engineering published by Forbes Custom Publishing used by the Air Force Academy. Matt has completed two novels, The Calling, a science fiction adventure, as well as Honor. Born in 1971, Matt Yocum lived in Kentucky until he was 17. At this time he entered the Air Force, becoming a cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Matt was commissioned as a second lieutenant and received a B.S. in engineering science from the Academy in June 1993. In December 1994, Matt received a Master of Science in aeronautical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. Matt's military assignments have taken him around the country and the world. Among the positions he's held are assistant professor of engineering mechanics at the Air Force Academy and the visiting scientist to the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
